Her name was Brittany.Golden retriever,which was the last surviving search dog that worked in 2001 during the terrorist attacks in New York.Constantly smiling,kind,bright savior of lives.
Brittany also worked as a search engine during hurricanes Katrina,Rita in 2005 with her regular partner Denis Corliss.
In 2016,Brittany died peacefully of old age,a little before her 17th birthday.It was a big blow for Denis,who taught her and worked with her for more than 10 years.
In 2017,Brittany’s friends and just grateful residents of Texas decided to erect a monument to a dog in the suburbs of Houston,near the area where the dog served.
Now the memory of her is immortalized with a beautiful monument,where she is depicted in her prime.
An amazing creature that grateful people will remember for a long time!
